Capital One's Summit: Only Freshman and Sophomores

Here is an opportunity for freshman and sophomore

Capital One's Summit for Developing Leaders
Scheduled for May 15-20, 2011 at Capital One's corporate headquarters in McLean, VA. Capital One will be responsible for all participant travel and accommodations.

Qualifications
  • GPA 3.25 or higher
  • Quantitative major
  • Demonstrate leadership in academics, community service and extracurricular activities

HACU National Internship Program (HNIP) Application Deadline

The HACU National Internship Program (HNIP) is still accepting applications for our summer 2011 internship. This is a paid internship open for all majors both undergraduate and graduate students. Students are placed in Washington, D.C., and throughout the country with federal agencies and the following corporations:

· Intel

· Freddie Mac

· Federal Reserve Bank

· Hormel

· Lockheed Martin

· Booz Allen

· Verizon

· Lockheed Martin

The application deadline is Friday, February 25, 2011. Apply online at www.hacu.net/hnip.

Eligibility Criteria:

· Currently enrolled in a college or university

· Have completed freshman year of college prior to the beginning of the internship

· Have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale

· Be authorized or eligible to work by law in the United States

· Be an undergraduate or graduate student during internship application

Program dates: June 3 through August 13 –or—June 21 through August 28

Pay: $450 (freshman, sophomore, junior), $480 (senior), $550 (master's, PhD, law students)

Program Benefits: Free airfare, housing arrangements made by HACU, college credit (optional)
