| Frito Lay Technical Speaker Frito Lay, Inc. will host our February Technical Speaker Series at their national headquarters located in Plano, Texas. Come learn about current and future technology in the consumer packaged goods industry. Mark Maldonado, Senior Engineering Group Manager, will present and demonstrate upcoming technology. In addition, Human Resource professionals will be on hand to discuss employment opportunities and will be accepting resumes. |

SHPE DFW Scholarship The SHPE DFW Chapter is accepting applications for its annual scholarship program for students pursuing degrees in engineering, math, computer science, and science at DFW colleges and universities. The scholarship application will be available online at www.shpe-dfw.org in mid-February. The postmark deadline to submit applications for 2011-2012 is April 1, 2011. This year, high school seniors and continuing college students will be eligible to apply for the scholarship. Last year, SHPE DFW awarded $5,000 in scholarships to students attending area higher education institutions. |
