The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) will soon launch their Spring 2012 Civil Engineer Trainee (CET) Recruitment Season.

The qualifications to apply for CET positions at IDOT are as follows:
· United States citizen or Non-Citizen with Permanent Work Authorization
· Graduate in the past five (5) years with a bachelors or masters degree in civil engineering from a college/university with an ABET accredited civil engineering program OR
· Graduate in the past five (5) years with a bachelors or masters degree in engineering from an ABET accredited college and passed the FE exam to obtain the Illinois EIT License (or has obtained the EIT License).
· Possess a cumulative GPA no lower than 2.50 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)
