Fluor Entry Level Pipeline Position

Fluor will be conducting interviews for the position of Entry level Pipeline
Engineer. We have a few openings for new grads to fill.

Interviews will be held at the Energy Research Park on Monday February 13,
and still have some slots open for interviewing.

graduating in May and December of this year.

Job Description:
- Under general supervision, perform basic design of onshore and offshore pipelines.
- Flow Assurance - Perform steady state and transient hydraulic simulations and assist with heat transfer calculations
as required.
- Mechanical Design - Perform onshore and offshore mechanical design using pipeline-specific software including
finite-element analysis. Define pipe wall thickness and investigate pipeline free spanning, bottom roughness,
on-bottom stability, global buckling, and in-situ stress.
- Documentation - Document analysis assumptions and communicate study findings to the client with clear, organized
reports. Interface with drafting personnel and provide input to drawings.
- Specifications - Understand industry codes and standards and develop specifications under the direction of senior
engineers.
- Work with vendor data and personnel from other disciplines as required to perform basic design.
- Become familiar with the Pipeline Knowledge Community and other Fluor standards and procedures.
- Participate in general training programs and Fluor activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
